Yes we do – for our more expensive courses. It’s easy to check – the payment options for every course is on the relevant course page.

  2. I’m not in the UK, can I still take your courses?

Yes. The Advanced Personal Trainer option is for you. This is most similar to the old SBS Academy.  We’ve taught thousands of students from over 50 countries (so far). If you have a good understanding of written and spoken English, and a stable internet connection (to watch standard definition videos), then you can study with us.

  3. Is there a Facebook group for PTC students?

There is. All our past and present students are part of it, as well as the tutors. it’s a lively, active community where you can discuss the material you’re studying. It’s not open to the general public – you need to be enrolled on one of our courses.

  4. What does the Study Time refer to?

At the top of each course page there’s a Study Time logo. It’s the total length of the course lectures, multiplied by 2 – this is for time to take notes, do quizzes and take exams. This is a guide – some students need more time, others need less.

  5. What prior education or experience do I need to study Personal Training with the PTC?

You don’t need any previous qualifications or experience. All we ask is that you’re passionate about the subject and want to learn.

The Advanced Personal Trainer Course doesn’t include levels 2 and 3, so you can get up to three attempts for no extra charge.

If you have paid in full for the PT Core and your chosen specialist courses, you will get an electronic certificate when you pass. We print physical PTC certificates every quarter.
